Your 4th point, not something that bothers me at all. Surprised you didn't mention anything about the soundtrack. This is of course helped with their haunting theme and the excellent voice acting. Like the Crones are some of the most chilling enemies I've ever encountered. Some of the monsters look horrifying, yes they're ugly, but that's the point. I think the art direction is pretty spot on, everything is believable but there's still cool looking gear with the Witcher School sets especially. And you might like Touissant more (2nd expansion), it's pretty vibrant and colorful enviroment. Now I have over 300 hours on it, so it feels like second nature.įor points 2 and 3 I disagree pretty strongly, I think it's still a stunner. It's been a long time since I first played it, so hard to say. Rarely if ever it felt like fighting the controls, maybe it took a bit to get used to. I don't have issues with movement or targeting in the combat (I don't use the lock-on), I guess it helps too to play it on 60 fps. So I get some of the complaints, but saying things like "dogshit" seems to be overdoing it. Obviously Witcher 3 combat could be improved upon a great deal, like how most of your toolset feels pretty useless unless on the highest difficulty I guess. Like in Red Dead Redemption I was pissed how much combat there was, as it just got boring mowing down huge groups of enemies (haven't played the 2nd). I highly recommend getting on the DLC asap.įor the negatives, I don't feel as strongly about the combat, it's not something I actively avoid or something that frustrates me greatly. I also loved everything you loved in the game. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, for me it's the GOAT.
